Instructions for Applying For Fire Hydrant
A fire hydrant can only be set on a 6” or larger water line and have approval of the right water flow (will be tested and approved by Cleveland County Water). The property the hydrant will be set on has to have approval from said property owner and the owner needs to sign application, give copy of deed or tax statement showing they own property and a copy of State issued ID. Once all paper work is delivered to office and fees are paid, a flag will be issued to be placed where hydrant is to be set. All hydrants will take 2 weeks from the day fees and paper work are turned in.
